PacStar® Announces Hiring of Noelle Martz as Director of Human Resources
Extensive experience with high technology companies provides expanded leadership to support growth in high-performance staff
Portland, OR – October 2, 2018 – PacStar today announced the hiring of Noelle Martz to be its Director of Human Resources, leading a team of experienced human resources professionals supporting the company’s growth in all operating areas – manufacturing, engineering, sales and administration. Prior to joining PacStar, Martz served as strategic HR partner and advisor to the Executive of Defense at Insitu, Inc., a subsidiary of Boeing Autonomous Systems, to ensure performance goals aligned with enterprise-wide objectives.

Martz is an exceptionally motivated, results oriented Human Resources professional who brings over 12 years of expertise to her new position. Her passion is creating innovative ways to engage all employees in goal-oriented teamwork and establishing the culture, systems and training that will develop leaders and empower employees to solve problems. Prior to her time at Insitu, Noelle served as the director of Human Resources for an innovative healthcare start-up creating a customer-centric human resources function from scratch, growing the organization into a multi-unit/multi-state operation and ensuring the employee experience was exceptional. Noelle currently holds her PHR, SHRMP-CP and is in the process of completing her CCP.
In the past few years, PacStar has won a number of high-visibility US government programs of record including US Army T2C2 tactical small form factor communications systems and US Marines NOTM vehicle mount network equipment, as well as a number of other large contracts including US Army Europe. These programs have resulted in the doubling of sales over the last few years and the doubling of total company-wide employment to 90 employees, most of which are located at the company’s Portland, Oregon headquarters.
